He wins 5 stright tournaments leading up to the Ryder Cup, then he plays distinctly average last week in Ireland* and boom this week down in Watford he shoots 23 under par and makes it 6 stright PGA tournaments wins.
Im sure the million + $ winners cheque had nothing to do with his sudden change in form, the guys super rich already, or is it just a case of him and the U.S team in general not been able to play as a team.
*Although most of the U.S team played rubbish.
I think in the Ryder Cup he had an uncharacteristic bad run of form. I feel the psychology in the team game is different too.
Still the best golfer I've ever seen, and a rare positive role model in terms of professional sport

dont like the man has a face like a slapped beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!
sorry:help:
No Doubt he is still the best golfer in the world right now and has been since the late 90's.
But intresting out of the 25 available Ryder Cup points he has played for since 1997 he has only won 11, but out of the 5 singles matches he's played he's only lost 1.

I'm sure the money has nothing to do with it. He's gone on record as saying he's disappointed with his Ryder Cup record and I'm sure it must irritate him that he's seems to be unable to take his solo form into this competition.
I don't think foursomes suits him at all. Many golfers hate the format (taking alternate shots with your partner) and given Woods' focussed, single minded approach to the game it should come as no surprise that he loses something from his game playing this format. I think this is also reflected in the fact that his singles record in the RC is OK.

And yet outside of 'work' he's reportedly very affable and easy going. At least you never seeing him spitting vitriolic sh** at people whilst playing his sport, unlike our charming young professional footballers. I guess he feels he needs to keep his emotions in check and close himself off to all external influences whilst he's playing... maybe that's part of what it takes to earn $65m. But then again, you don't get to see him laughing all the way to the bank.
