I remember video to that cos it was a cartoon and had Rupert the bear in it
I recall seeing it on Top of the Pops. Horrible.
Agent Orange 06-08-2004, 09:03 Damn - I've got it going through my head now. It could take another 20 years to get it out of there! :D
LittleWitch 06-08-2004, 12:18 I've still got the record and the Ladybird book!!
I used to love it when I was a nipper. All the bum bum bum's - so much entertainment for a five year old!! he he he :D
Thats made me feel really old , I remember travelling to Norfolk with my 18 month old son and to keep him happy we had to have that playing for the whole journey .....oh the memories
Funky_Gibbon 20-03-2008, 14:29 I had that record! Didn't it have Spies Like Us on it as well?

I always thought it was from that film he did in the 80s - Give My Regards to Broad Street? I liked No More Lonely Nights, though the Frog Chorus not so much.
ETA: Wasn't Spies Like Us a film too? :suspect:

Oh god, so it was you who invented Crazy Frog then?!
:hihi:
And yes, the song was from the film Rupert Bear and the Frog Song. :) I must try and get that and see if it has Raggety in it...Raggety is cool.
The video's on youtube if anyone wants to watch it.

"Ruuuu-pert........Ruuuu-pert...."
I still say these all the time.
I loved the cardboard case to the video, and the other songs (except that freaky Wings one, not so much...)

Rich, there are certain things in life you should NEVER admit to... :P And buying the "Frog Chorus" is one of them :) Age is no excuse :)

Damn! If the anniversary had fallen BEFORE his divorce, I think public sympathy would have turned significantly... :P

I gotta admit i had the record when i was a young 'un too !!!!!!!!
I suppose nobody can see past the schmaltzy video and Rupert connection to realise it's actually a damn good piece of music.

No, I'm serious. It has some outstanding harmonies.
frostiekazza 20-03-2008, 21:13 I will always remember that song !! . My sister was heavily pregnant at the time with her first son and whenever that song came on she would get up and on the bum , bum ,bums she would bob down a bit on each one and on the ayeeya ( !!) she would stand up dead straight , i would always do it with her ( i was only young at time , dont know what her excuse was tho :hihi:) . It was absolutley hysterical cos she had this big bump and alot of the time she struggled to get up partly because of her bump and partly because we were peeing our selves laughing !!
Yes , we are a bit mad , you just had to be there tho :hihi: :hihi:
Eric_Collins 20-03-2008, 21:26 he put this back out to pay for his legal fee's ?
