Does anyone know if the paddling pools at Rivelin are open?

Considering a visit tomorrow and want to aviod dissapointing the kids if they are shut.

I'd imagine they'd be open, given the time of year and the kiddies being off school, but it might be wise to drive past and have a look before taking the kids.

Depends whether they've been chav-ised yet (vandalised).

Last I heard it was leaking clorine into River Riverlin so it was unable to be opened.

This may have been fixed though.

Yes it is open, judging by the loads of kids splashing around in the paddling pools when I passed last week

Used to take my kids many years ago, had some good times.

Well I now know where we will be heading tomorrow!

A nice walk, take a picnic and a towel or two, what a lovely day out!
