Does anyone know of a good internet firm which will deliver bedding in bulk, e.g hay and straw. I use Petplanet for my food but they dont do bedding:(

How much do you call bulk. I have my local petshop at Crosspool deliver my bags of cat litter and hay for my animals. If he is local enough for you pm me for his number.

That may actually do, how much does he charge? Im at Nethergreen. I have 8 bunnies at the mo and we get through two regular bags of hay and four of straw a week. Usually buy from Wilkinsons but seen as I dont drive....

Have you tried going round any local farms?

I used to buy bale/half bale of straw and hay when I had guinea's.

Cheapest way I found :)

i have no transport but strongly believe in keeping the local economy going i buy from the local pet shop here in Woodseats ,(Woodseats Supepet) They deliver locally and its always good quality produce , my veg and fruit is organic which i use for them too , also delivered by a local company.
I also find the supplier of hutches there alot better than some of the factory manifactuers i have used in the past

I used to use baled hay but found the mice living in it somewhat of a problem

No car.... Not quite strong enough to carry it either. Need someone who will deliver.
I Am going to try Crosspool petshop and will let you know how it turned out, in case anyone else is interested.:)

I'm not sure whether Andy at West Street Pets would fit the bill, but he delivers a multitude of 20kg cat litter sacks to my place every few weeks and is cheerful and knowledgeable too. If you want to ask him, the shop's on 2700991.

I use K9Capers (http://www.k9capers.com/shop/default.asp) and have found them great. Delivery is free (or usually £1) over £30 which is great. Delivery is usually within a week and they send emails to let you know what is happening if it is going to be delayed. Highly recommended. I've just had a look and they do pet bedding too. I get big bags of Science Plan for my babies as recommended at the Shelter so I don't have to get two busses from Pets at home. Phew!
