Hi i'm currently in the process of buying a flat to rent out in the butchers works development, what is the buy to let market like at present with city centre flats, and what is the expected monthly rent for a 1 bed penthouse flat within such a development like this?. any info please...

The buy to let market is very bouyant I find though the nearer you are to the centre the better.
As for rental it is difficult to guess on an untested building. You could give a letting agent a ring they will give you a better idea.

To hazard a guess I would say £550 furnished and without parking, £600 with. It also depends on the square footage.
