well, i think it's quite amusing. we decided to sell the house through open offers (although they did finish off the last 3 people with BAFO at their request) as i thought it would be more pleasant for everyone involved. one of the bidders had the nerve to tell the estate agent (acting on my behalf, obviously) that she was really put out that we chose open bids. honestly, did she think that would help her cause?:loopy: The agent told me after the bidding had closed that she would have been very uncomfortable arranging a sale with this woman as she was a big ole pain in the ass. what did the woman think she could gain by picking on the estate agent, who was, as far as i can tell, a very nice and competent lady? Even if she had been the highest bidder i doubt i would have sold the house to her...she wasn't exactly fun to show around the house, either - i love my little house, i'm hardly going to sell it to someone who didn't make an effort to be nice, am i?

She sounds like a naieve fool. Who were the Agents you used? Sound like you've found some of the good guys.
