I just moved here from Vienna and at the moment I'm desperately looking for a person holding an Austrian passport to attest my postal vote for our national elections. It's really rather urgent!

Try contacting the university and see if they can help. You could try the german department directly, perhaps, and if no luck there, maybe put a poster up in the student union - careful about giving personal details though - perhaps a mobile number?

Or maybe wear a sandwich board with the words ''I'm desperately looking for a person holding an Austrian passport to attest my postal vote for our national elections. It's really rather urgent!'' on it.
