this old geezer ive talked too says during the 60's 70's 80's this liitle street was by far the hardest street in sheffield,has anyone off here ever lived on/near it and is it true?

Ive only fell down on a few streets in sheffield and they all felt hard at the time!Sometimes when you've had too much jungle juice then some roads do feel softer until the next morning!

do you mean CromFORD Street?

and yes, when i was younger, there was a gang, called the "Cromford Street Mob" or "Cromford Street Gang", and they did have quite a reputation for being hard. (the other gang I remember was the "Bar Mob" from Hunters bar)
