Freezing ?- it's 14°C outside and we have most of the windows open and the heating hasn't been on since the end of May and you reckon it's freezing.

Sorry about the hot water though :)

If your in a council house fone housing department or Repairs, they will come do it for you. But if you own your house, I'll let you carry on with your question :D

yeh they woudnt give me a time they said between 8 and 6 i was like i work so im hopeing the'll actually come when im in or ill be most annoined.

British Gas are the worst company ever I have come across.

I was without electric & gas for nearly 9 Days because there customer service never answered or gave me a laim excuse as to why they could not make thei appointment

My advise is after Transco have been out read your meter instantley change to another company and dont waste any more time or money with British Gas

Don't you know that every 90 seconds someone returns to British Gas?

I know it might sound unfashionable, but I have found that while British Gas are not the cheapest, their engineers very good and are backed up by a huge skill base, so if one engineer gets baffled, he calls for assistance and the problem is sorted....which you don't tend to get with Joe Bloggs plumbing and heating....just my experience.

All gas and electric engineers work for British Gas. That's just the way it is. It doesn't matter who you're paying for your gas and electric, it's still British Gas who fix your boiler and things. The other companys like N Power etc, just bill you, nothing else.

"British Gas are not the cheapest" They are actually the most expensive.
