Strix 26-09-2006, 12:05 AM I've just found out :suspect:.....
That the distance from the tip of Brude's tongue, to about his eyes, if he squints, is the same size as the depth of a Haagen Daas tub
what silly measurements do you have of your pets? :hihi:
jen13kd 26-09-2006, 12:07 AM do I count my little mouse's log tail in the calculation?
kittenta 26-09-2006, 12:07 AM My dogs nose fits perfectly into the cat food tin
Strix 26-09-2006, 12:19 AM Takara is just the right size to help herself to Brude's dinner from the side if she stands on her hind legs :suspect:
BobbyBunny 26-09-2006, 12:23 AM My rabbit is just tall enough to get on top of a set of drawers if I'm not looking.
Strix 26-09-2006, 12:26 AM do I count my little mouse's log tail in the calculation? If it's about the right size to dangle from the roof of his cage and drink upside down (or something) ;)
Strix 26-09-2006, 12:27 AM My rabbit is just tall enough to get on top of a set of drawers if I'm not looking.
Especially if you're asleep? :D
BobbyBunny 26-09-2006, 12:39 AM Especially if you're asleep? :D
Yes! I wake up often to see him sitting, looking at me as if to say... 'HA! Look what I've done...' He also likes to throw things around the room... He's strong enough to pick up his bed (one of those catbed things that look like a wigwam) and throw it in the air.. :hihi:
bluesandtwos 26-09-2006, 01:10 AM My 15 week old husky pups can fit through a hole15cm x 8cm into next doors garden, lil buggers :D
Moonbird 26-09-2006, 01:51 AM My Durham is big enough to hit me on the nose with his head when he jumps up
kittenta 26-09-2006, 02:09 AM My 15 week old husky pups can fit through a hole15cm x 8cm into next doors garden, lil buggers :D
ahhhhh i love huskys, My brothers used to have a facination with the dishwasher when it lived here :loopy: That dog also liked to fit it's nose in the cat food tins
lozzybird 26-09-2006, 09:45 AM My cat Candy is small enough to sit in my handbag, - well almost - but long enough to take up almost all the width of the bottom of my double bed so that I can't straighten my legs out. Elastic cat!

I had my suspicions that Brude was a cat :suspect:
He can curl himself up so tight it looks like you could comfortably get two beagles in his travel cage, but if he's fed up with being shut in it he presses his head against the 'roof' and does his 'Huntingdon Life Sciences' face
He too can either nestle under my arm like a hamster, or somehow take up so much bed that Mr Strix and I wind up hanging out of opposite sides of the bed
medusa 26-09-2006, 12:01 PM My rather large cat Arthur is just the right weight to stop me from rolling over in bed when he sleeps between my shoulder blades.
baileys_mum 26-09-2006, 12:02 PM my baby guinea pigs are smaller than the palm of my hand
Ginger_Kitty 26-09-2006, 12:33 PM My littlest kitten is tall enough when stretching from the ground to reach her front two paws into the fridge, but only when the door is open!!!! one of these days she'll get 'em trapped!!!!!
Lotti 26-09-2006, 01:56 PM  Yes Strix, Takara can reach most things if she puts her mind to it!
Takara is tall enough to reach the door handle if she stands on her back legs, tall enough to reach to the back of the worktop, small enough squeeze through the door when you're trying to shut her in and small enough to hide in tall grass!
Eddy thinks he's small enough for us not to notice when he climbs onto the sofa, and thinks he's big enough to scare off a very large, 18 month old German Shepherd Dog
sooz22 26-09-2006, 02:12 PM Our six weeks old baby bunnies are already big/brave enough to jump off the sofa. Only discovered this after nipping into the kitchen.
Strix 01-10-2006, 04:34 AM Brude is tall enough to see out of the window in my sister's new flat - just ;)
He looks like a little kid standing on his back legs like that (probably coz he can stretch out into a straight line, just like dog legs aren't supposed to :suspect: )
