Tracie 01-10-2006, 09:03 PM Thanks for the recommendations guys - I've stuck this so that others can add their favourite gardening and allotment sites too
I use the BBC gardening pages a lot (linky here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/gardening/) ) - the plant finder is fab :)
jimmy 03-10-2006, 03:02 PM Garden Organic (http://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/) is very good. It has a section "What to do in your garden now" (http://www.gardenorganic.org.uk/todo_now/index.php)
RobD1 04-10-2006, 03:27 PM Grow Your Own Magazine - http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/

Excellent service, cheap & hassle free, used them a lot this year & I'm very satisfied with everything purchased.

craigpugh 17-12-2006, 07:42 PM Does anyone know if there is any resource, on line or cd/dvd, that will helpm me plan my allotment on the computer?
I know there are a few general garden planner dvd's- are any of these any good for the allotment gardener?
I do everything else on the computer- i want to do the allotment on it too.. oh actually, not quite EVERYTHING, but you know what i mean!
This allotment bible gives a calendar based on an allotment in Leeds, as well as full information on each veg.

paulo232323 13-08-2007, 11:20 AM If you need stuff for the garden or allotment, PVGC2 is brilliant-you order online, just go to their site, but if you email them, you can get discounts, bulk deals etc. I use it a lot, and they do have a good range

mario77 31-08-2007, 12:28 PM Hi everyone!
Do you have any experiences with a company called Liveoutside.co.uk? My friend saw them at Hampton Court Flower Show and he really liked their gazebos and summerhouses. I am just about to get myself a summerhouse and I’ve found a really good deal for one at liveoutside.co.uk/our_products/summerhouses/art25.html. Now I wonder if I should go for their offer of installation for £250 or should I arrange it via a local landscaper? Their offer for assembly seems reasonable but I wanted to get some opinions first – do you have any comments?
Thanks a lot .
paulo232323 03-09-2007, 12:14 PM Yup that;s it. I ordered again yesterday, 3rd time. Haven't been let down yet! Let me now what you think
