Oh, and to the person who was waiting to cross the road outside the railway station who I sprayed with water, I am SOOO sorry ! I could barely see where I was going and, although I was driving very slowly ,I didn't see that HUGE puddle. There was a pool of water two feet deep on Pond Street, another one close to that on Park Square at the Broad Lane exit; several other similar ones all over the place. Thunzi 25-09-2006, 19:54 I really miss not being sat right next to a window anymore (though everything else about my new job is miles better). I can't see what's going on anymore really, I certainly didn't see it lashing it down today. H.P 25-09-2006, 19:58 I finished work and went to broomhill to get the young un from nursery, the roads were like rivers. Water was spouting out of the drains and there was a smell like sewers. I have never been so wet the rain completley saturated me in 30 seconds. Although I was touched by the kind bus driver on the stagecoach 52 who gave me a brolly.. thankyou :D Sugar_Kiss 25-09-2006, 20:05 i went on a cheer me up shop spree, amd got drenched walking back to the car...i parked down the moor and walked up fargate, thinking i wouldnt get rained on...i looked like a drowned rat czechroman 25-09-2006, 20:14 I finished work and went to broomhill to get the young un from nursery, the roads were like rivers.
