I would appreciate any information on any Turkish restaurants in Sheffield. Also does anyone know where I could get Turkish language lessons please?

It's not Turkish as such, but Sheiks on Glossop Rd is VERY good Arab food. More Jordanian than Moorish, but being a Yorkshireman I wouldn't be able to spot the subtleties.:thumbsup:

Most sweet shops in Sheff sell Turkish Delights ;) :lol:

There was a Turkish restaurant on London Road called Efes, I think. Not been for ages - is it still there?

There is also a newly opened Turkish restaurant on London Road called Alaturk

And it's very good. We took a group there last week & they couldn't do enough for us & the food was fab too. I'd def recommend Alaturka.
