Em-ily 24-09-2006, 08:18 PM Hi there
Im looking at possibly renting a flat at Leadmill Court. Does anyone have any information or opinions on the flats?
I know there is a couple of student blocks situated around, does the noise cause a problem? How far is it to the train station?
Stuff 25-09-2006, 11:15 AM It's about a 3-minute walk to the train station.
I lived there for about 6 months a couple of years ago. If you're on the front (Shoreham Street), it can be a little noisy with traffic and ar*eholes making noice at 2am, but it's not too bad

Ive just sold my property there and I have rented it out for 4 years and all my tenants loved living there, some students, some professionnals and it was on Shoreham Street so no problems - good luck. June

Ive lived here for about 4 months and so far so good. Its mostly professionals with a few students thrown into the mix. Its a really good location and surprisingly quiet.

When the girlfriend rented there, a 2 bed flat was £575/month. That was about 18 months ago though.

Im sure it probably depends on the size of the flat, so theres probably still some in that price bracket.

I rent out my spare room for 370 a month including utility bills. It has two good sized double bedrooms and a nice spacious kicthen lounge.
