is anyone living in S10 experiencing problems with post? i havent recieved post for about a week.. and its not because im unpopular! lol im expecting 4 important letters and 1 parcel and havent recieved them..

are there strikes on or something?

no problems with the post in Crosspool, which comes via the small sorting office on Lydgate Lane

Nope it is still coming, though our regular guy is not doin it so it has been a bit later. I know the lady next door is waiting for a parcel to arrive and it hasnt yet (maybe it is you :lol: ). Try ringing Sheffield Office of Royal Mail (0845) 7740740 to get the number of the Crosspool office, as i cant find it.

They do take on temps in the summer maybe they can't carry as much, or walk as fast :D :D

Ah, thats brilliant, thank you for the number! I shall try and ring them now. Its bloody annoying! I think ill ask my nieghbour aswell.. see if they have got any post.. maybe its just us.. maybe the post people hate us.. burn our mail.. play football with our parcels.. :( are we being vindicated? lol

Joking, lol ill give them a ring. the Royal Mail is a complete joke though!

Post's fine for me - could be they tried to deliver, and the notes gone missing - also check outside I've had couriers leave stuff without letting me know round the back of the house.

I work on Lydgate Lane, S10 and we have had problems for a while including days with no post at all and our next door neighbours have been round to ask if we have any of their post as they have some missing.

I have spoken with the post office but they say there is no notes on their computer of a strike or anything.

When I lived on harcourt road the post man was allways putting other peoples mail in our mailbox, infact one day I recived post for half the street. Then one day he posted my bank statement to the hostel next door which they opened and then posted back to me cheeky beggars. In the end I called the main post office and complained they sent me a book of stamps for my trouble. But I think from experience that the post service for s10 is not as it should be, infact I wouldnt be suprised if your mail is at someone elses house. hope you manage to get to the bottom of it

Well, we got a single piece of Junk mail today.. which is better than nothing.. i think! i might have to ask the flats around me to see if there having any problems..

it was working fine the other day!

I had real problems last year, but i phoned to complain and got a free book of stamps. Since then it's been great, just comes a little late in the day.

Hurrah for post today!! hehe some of it was 5 days late, but yey nevertheless! :)
