Just surfing on the BBC website and came across this, and went

Did anyone else used to watch this series on BBC2, it was so gripping and entertaining, I couldnt miss an epsiode.

Well they are showing it again before the 90 minute special - 10 years on.

I heard someone dies (won't say who in case people don't want a spoiler) and they meet at this person's funeral... Not sure if it's true or not though cos last i heard they met at Miles' book launch. I think maybe they are planting lots of fake spoilers to keep us waiting with baited breath...

I think you're referring to 'That's life' not 'This life'

Two entirely different programmes mate :)

I loved that series ... it left a void in my life when it ended

I bet it won't seem as good seeing it again ... none of the programmes you enjoyed in the past ever seem the same when repeated.

The one off special should be worth watching though.

What was the series that Jack was in afterwards, was it Electric Blue, with his dead policeman friend appearing to him? Or he was a vampire or something?

That seemed to vanish without trace.

Iggy him, Stagey, he knows that! He's just trying to be funny ....

Sounds like a TV version of 'The Big Chill'....

I never really 'got' this show first time around. I'm not sure why - perhaps it was where I was in my life at that time, but it just bugged me. :)

Ultraviolet - shame they let it die.

Very promising, though - that would be something I'd like to see finished properly.

Similar colours lol :)

Yes, I really enjoyed the first series and it looked like something that could have developed in very interesting ways. I wonder why it jsut died like that?

Perhaps the writer's ideas dried up ... shame really.

Rubydazzler,

The mind of the TV executive is a strange and perverse place. :)

I got really in to the science fiction series 'Threshold' and that was binned early. I got in to the 'X-Files light' series 'Dark Skies' and that was binned. Same with Ultraviolet.

Now, any suggestions for series I should watch... :)

But yes, same colours!

Hey Joe, Dark Skies is currently being re-shown on one of the ITV channels - 3 or 4.
