I want to interview new and up and coming bands, singers and musicians for our fast approaching FM broadcast.
Can anyone tell me or know of anyone and a contact so I can arrange to meet them and help promote there music.
also I am looking for musicians to do a live broadcast from there gig whereever it may be.

Anyway, sorry to the OP, You should try going to open mike nights and the like, that might help? Or put an ad in the local paper..

Paul, 2 options for ya - I sing with Highway Child - 9 piece soul tribute (newly 9 piece - just aquired trumpet and tenor and barritone sax players - very exciting) Alternatively Acoustic Child (http://www.acousticchild.co.uk) which is our lead singer and guitar player doing their own material - downloads on their site - we would be happy to get involved:)

Absynthfairy, I would like to welcome you on board.
I have a quite a few bands who are up for this and want to get it organised ASAP.
I may do a couple whilest were still webcasting to get a feel for it then do a regular broadcast when we go on FM.
It can't do you any harm thats for sure and would make interesting programmiing on my side as people love to listten to live bands on radio.
I will be in touch.
Oh, I still have a shortage of solo singers to take part to and would love to hear from you.
Buskers, established and solo musicians, come through and take this up.

Reality check are an up and coming band see them at the boardwalk on the 19th october.they are also online look up reality check to listen to their sounds.they have a good following.:thumbsup:
