It's not, it's in the building that used to be Barbarella's, at the end of London Road. I've not been but somebody at work was very impressed with it.

Yeah its the one by Safeway on London Road. I thought it was a bit weird that the address was Eccy Road but thats what it said on the advert.

My boyfriend went last wek and thought it was very good - starters are better than main courses but good and authentic

There was a review of this place in the star last night and it got 5/5 for just about everything.

Best Thai IMO is the one in Broomhill, Bahn Nah or similar spelling! Family run, food fantastic though not massive portions so order lots!

I went to Baan Thai last night and it was the best Thai meal i have ever had. I'll certainly be going back. The food even impresed my sister who spent 3 months in Thai land and she claimed that it was perfectly authentic.

I went here for the sunday buffet yesterday (12-3pm, 10.95 per head) and was very impressed.

The range of food available was nowhere near as wide as the chinese buffets in town but the quality was superb. The place is immaculately turned out and all the staff were friendly and unobtrusive, including the proud head chef who talked us through what was in each dish!

I'll be back there soon to try out the (literally massive) standard menu!

This new restaurant is by far the best We have been to in the Sheffield area for a long time, it was an true delight to get genuine and quality Thai food for once, and the prices were very fair.
Will be returning soon for sure!

We went with friends last night and thought it was disappointing. The food wasn't bad, just rather bland and samey. It was also extremely crowded and hot. Being an old bank building, there's a distinct lack of windows that open and no other visible source of ventilation. For the four of us, it came to £150 which I thought was a bit steep.

Have to say I think it would be improved if they reduced the number of tables - it's really cramped in there. Thought the place in Broomhill was better as well.

Went there for my 19th birthday and thought it was really nice. Food was authentic, menu was very big and was fairly priced.

Although my friend kept thinking the people working there were going to "shin us to death" whenever they gave us a dodgy look, which I found funny, the staff were very friendly and offered to talk us through the whole menu.

For 5 starters, 5 main menu's and 2 rounds of Singha.. The meal came to around £85 and I'll definitely be going again.

Also, the other 4 people I went with loved it so anyone that doesn't like it mustn't be really into Thai food.

ive got say, baan thai (not to be confused with baan nah) is by far the best thai in sheffield. proper authentic home cooked style thai...

you know how you normally get 4 or 5 generic dishes that are applied to chicken, beef, prawn and vegetables... with a few wild cards thrown in for good measure? most of the dishes are unique and only a few a repeated for different meats or whatever. a vast menu that is innovative and well cooked...

normally beef is flash fried and ends up being quite tough in these places, the stuff they have (beef red curry i think it was) tastes like its been brazed all day, it just falls apart.... yum!

as a big thai fan go there and nowhere else, it is in a different league!
