I moved to Woodhouse in 1965 on th new estate Rodger road lived between A holdsworth and the maitichin familly who were the two newsagents in the village before they murged Holdsworth was I think was on Station Road towards Woodhouse Mill and Machin's was in the village opposite the garage.
I spent my time as a paper boy for Alan Holdsworth who lived at 2 Rodger Road I lived at number 6 and Paul Machin lived at 12 Rodger Road.
