I'm not sure if someone posted about Spin Off magazine before, but I was just wondering if there were any outlets that stock it here in the UK?

The only place I can find is a subscription website in the US.

Thanks :)

I buy Spin Off from Borders, which I'm lucky enough to have nearby. I haven't seen it anywhere else though. Does Wingham Woolwork not have it in stock? I used to have a subscription for Interweave Knits from there.

I'd be happy to get it for you and send it on, if you can't track it down.

After i'd posted I thought about winghams, they may have it i'm not sure i'll go have a look.

If not I might take you up on your kind offer :)

Thanks.

Just looked, and yes they do stock it :) I'm going back on Monday so i'll pick up a copy hopefully.

I could pick you up a drop spindle whilst i'm there and save it with the other stuff? ;)

Oooh, yes please! Let me know how much it is and I'll send you another cheque :D . Could you pick up some decent fibre for spinning too, please, if it's not too much trouble? I'll leave the choice to you, but a natural colour (or maybe two) would be good. If you know how much it will be before you go, let me know so you're not out of pocket any longer than necessary.

Do you want fleece, which would require carding into rollags before you can spin it, or roving, which is all ready to spin?

The fibre she gave me to work with as a beginner was Finn.

I think for now I'll go with the roving. I'll PM/email you when I get the price list. Thanks very much :) .
