Does anyone know if I can still buy LRP petrol in Sheffield? I have tried many garages and was recently told the nearest is now in Chesterfield! I know I can use additives, but am reluctant to do so, please help me and my mini!

Leaded petrol stockist (http://www.leadedpetrol.co.uk/leadedperol.pdf)

Can't find anything about places what sell LRP but theres a list of garages selling leaded 4 star. Theres one on White Lane in gleedless. Can't imagine many £ per liter it is tho.

You can buy a lead additive that allows you to use unleaded. You just pour it into your tank when you fill up.

How new is your Mini? It may be cost effective to get it converted to unleaded, or put in an unleaded engine if your car is in decent nick and beloved by you!

Minis are a British institution (I had five!) and the government should be paying YOU to keep it on the road!

I wouldn't ever put LRP in my car, unleaded (optimax, etc) and an additive is better for the car.

But seeing as it is a mini, I would just bung a unleaded head on it. Will be cheaper in the long run.

Pretty much anywhere I've been too - BP in x-pool, Morrisons (I think). Esso in town.

This fuel is being withdrawn. When supplies run out it will be no more.
