View Full Version : Can anyone recommend a place for a Car Service in Sheffield Centre lucy25 20-09-2006, 09:04 Hi, I need to get my car serviced and could do with getting it done somewhere central so I can drop it off on my way into work. Can anyone recommend anywhere, where I won't get ripped off and they'll do a decent job!! Stuff 20-09-2006, 09:20 Don't go to Dixons at Granville Square - total rip-off merchants. A femily member of mine used to work there and I took my car in for an MOT, they told me it was a "death trap" and needed £500 spending on it... after my family member had a word with the mechanic who looked at it and explained that I was family, the bill suddenly went down to £100.
