Hi, does anyone have practical experience of the best and cheapest companies to hire transit vans for removal, for one day only, most likely a weekday(Wed-Thurs).

I've searched through this forum, because last time, I hired a transit van from Arnold Clark's and drove myself, but someone said I could've got cheaper rates.

Arnold Clark the rates are not bad it is a national company and the vehicles are new generally just remember you get what you pay for and most of the reputable companies charge very much the same give or take a couple of quid
some places only hire vans for three days or more the rates are much cheaper per day BUT you have to hire for three days min. dont get caught in that trap

AND AS FOR TITLE cheapest and best they never go together

Enterprise on queens road opposite the casino and b&q are quite good. I hired a car from there and it was cheaper then arnold clarke, and saw their van rates are too. Maybe only by £10 or so, but it all adds up.

metro self drive are cheap....buts as never wrong says...cheap and quality?? !!!!!.

I have used them so i can recommend.

All depends upon how I'm feeling nearer the move date, as to which co. is nearest my new flat.
