I know its a bit far out from here but does anyone know why there were lots of police cars and vans with blues and two on racing towards Shirebrook at about 8.15 last night.

I was brought up in Warsop, just down the road from Shirebrook. From my house I could see Shirebrook Comp (on a clear day, with binoculars).

Quite why I ever had the desire to look at....er....Shirebrook (replace the first r with a t to see what we used to call it) through binoculars escapes me. :)
