I have just moved here from Leicester and so far have not found any sweet centres. I can't imagine there wouldn't be any, near my old house there were 4 in spitting distance.
The only place I have heard about is up in Firth Park, which is quite a way from me, and has either been shut down by environmental health, or fined heavily by them which doesnt make me desperate to become a customer.
Does anyone know of anywhere with a better reputation, even if it is further out of the city? or do we think that the dodgy place might be my best bet for some barfi, without the £10 train fare back to Leicester?

There used to be a few sweet centres on Abbeydale rd, not sure if they are still there.

yeh abbeydale road or london road is ur next best bet

theres plenty on london rd.

also try halal butchers (ie muslim butcher shops) on that road coz alot of em sell in big trays or a box wid a variety of em in.
