A friend of mine has 2 cats, last Monday one was taken to the vets as he was poorly, poor little thing had something similar to swollen glands and the flu! Anyway...after a couple of injections and a course of antibiotics he is on the mend.
Their other cat decided that he'd actually go for the dog next door, he did a very good job of tearing the dogs face up and at one point had attached himself to the dogs tummy for maximum damage! The dog did manage to take a chunk of his leg though so he is now in the 'hospital' waiting for an operation to stitch his leg back up!

So...back to the point! I want to buy them something, they both like boxes so I was thinking of one of those fleecey cat bed box type things, any idea where I might get one?
The only pet shop I really know is the Pets at Home Superstore, and they're expensive and don't always have what you want.

not the first place youd think of, but try au naturale at the meadowhall retail prk (carbrook) - i got my two cats one of those soft igloo beds that cats love! the outer has a print of a tabby kitten - its sooooo cute!!! was only £9 as well :)

West Street Pet Supplies usually have what you're looking for too. It's only a tiny shop, so Andy has to keep some stock in the store room, but there's usually something to fit the bill.

If their house has central heating, how about radiator hammocks (assuming they are well enough to get 2' from the floor)? Everyone I know that has bought them for their cats says they are a great success- soft, fleecy and you can put the radiator on for them to get centrally heated beds.

They do just love those beds don't they!! - A really good idea but they have those already Medusa!
I'll take a look in there though I just haven't ever noticed it before - head in the clouds maybe? lol

My Nan's cats have one of those radiator things. She has five, and only one of them will go in it. The little girl one, who's the boss. We think its because she's 'told' the others they're not allowed in there :hihi: She's a right little madam.

those radiator beds are terrible! i had two cats from kittens, and they used to snuggle up so much, and enjoy the heat that theyd pee themselves and stay there, not minding!!! :o

im sure normal cats like them though! ;)
