mr craig 23-07-2004, 15:51 I'll start-
Matrix - First one was a masterpiece,Reloaded was crap but Revolutions was ok.
The Fast & The Furious - I've heard that a 3rd was is on its way :(
Continue..............................
Police academy.....but then again they shouldnt have released the first one!!
Cruel intentions.
Major League.
The Fly.
I know What You Did Last Summer.

True, i'd say Scream as well.
( 1 ) From Dusk till Dawn.
( 2 ) An American Werewolf in London.
Jaws.
The first one was 'orrible, even by 1984 standards.
Lord Of The Rings...but then again, they shouldnt have attempted to turn the book into a film in the first place.
Jurassic Park.
Charlie's Angels.
Final Destination.
Speed!!! (really bad sequel).
Tomb Raider (Worst film of last year).
The Whole Nine yards.
Blair Witch.
Starship Troopers.
Carrie.
Under Seige.
Species.
Psycho.
I could go on forever, sequels are a really bad idea!
Yes, Speed is up there as one of the worst.
Rocky I- Quite good
Rocky II- Very good
Rocky III
Rocky IV
Rocky V - All rubbish
Terminator, they should've stopped at T2: Judgement Day IMO, cos Terminator 3 was pants in comparison to its predecessor, apparently they're making Terminator 4 but Arnie won't be in it cos he says he's too busy being the Governor of California....
Meh, that automatically means it'll be sh*te! Arnold Schwarzenneger IS The Terminator, they can't make a Terminator movie without Arnie being in it :loopy:
miniminch 24-07-2004, 14:30 Eastenders. The first one was crap then they just kept making loads of sequels. I believe eastenders 7562 is out on monday. I wouldn't bother watching if I were you:loopy:

Yeah i thought T3 was pretty crap,i think the terminator movies have run their course.
Spot on about the Rocky movies too.
Id have to say Die Hard as well,i thought Die Hard 2 was really, really crap, but i do think Die Hard 3 was quite good.
Grease 2 - that is easily one of THE worst films ever made LOL
ooh and Nightmare on Elm Street.. great start, complete tripe there after (IMHO)
mimicraze 26-07-2004, 16:03 i love grease 2! its hilarious, so bad its good imho!
Lion King.... Lion King 1 and 2 were typically excellent classic Disney animated features, Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata totally sucked IMO.
Sure it was supposed to be a retelling of the first one, but those damned annoying Timon and Pumba completely bastardised it IMHO.
dylan_61 27-07-2004, 15:59 Star Wars, terrible kiddy film first, second, third, forth and fifth time.

I find your lack of faith disturbing....

Highlander, superb film.
Highlander 2
Highlander 3
Highlander: Endgame
Highlander: the series
Highlander: the Raven
All toss.
Interview with the Vampire; well written, well shot, well acted and even managed to win round Anne Rice who hated it initially.
Queen of the Damned; fudged and fooked up mess that does not deserve to be reagarded as a sequel to the above.

I never knew there was so many Highlanders. I remember seeing Highlander 2 at the cinema. Thought that was garbage as well.
It is also about time they knocked Halloween and Friday the 13th on the head.

True. I heard Jason V's Freddy was really, really bad.
I have to say I was pretty disappointed. I loved from duck till dawn, and one day I say from dusk till dawn 3 was in the video shop, I didnt even knwo there was a second!!
I guess they cant be good if two films had come out and I had never heard of them, straight to video I guess!!

You know it is not very nice to make fun of my inability to type proper!!
But I have to say Duck till Dawn, sounds a better film than Dusk till dawn 2 or 3!! :P
duranfan 11-08-2004, 20:24 Final Destination, the title says it all lol
The Magnificent Seven - the sublime to the ridiculous!
Airplane - the ridiculous to the grim!
As an aspiring screenwriter (several original scripts and pitches available for perusal by anyone with big piggy bank!! :-) ) I have big problems with most sequels as they rarely add anything.
Having said that I did like Lethal Weapon 2 and Lethal Weapon 3. LW4 was a step too far, though.
I suppose we should be lucky that we haven't yet had 'Quo Vadis 2 : JC kicks Roman Butt'.
