Lord Of The Rings...but then again, they shouldnt have attempted to turn the book into a film in the first place.

Terminator, they should've stopped at T2: Judgement Day IMO, cos Terminator 3 was pants in comparison to its predecessor, apparently they're making Terminator 4 but Arnie won't be in it cos he says he's too busy being the Governor of California....

Meh, that automatically means it'll be sh*te! Arnold Schwarzenneger IS The Terminator, they can't make a Terminator movie without Arnie being in it :loopy:

Yeah i thought T3 was pretty crap,i think the terminator movies have run their course.

Spot on about the Rocky movies too.

Id have to say Die Hard as well,i thought Die Hard 2 was really, really crap, but i do think Die Hard 3 was quite good.

Lion King.... Lion King 1 and 2 were typically excellent classic Disney animated features, Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata totally sucked IMO.

Sure it was supposed to be a retelling of the first one, but those damned annoying Timon and Pumba completely bastardised it IMHO.

Highlander, superb film.

Highlander 2
Highlander 3
Highlander: Endgame
Highlander: the series
Highlander: the Raven

All toss.

Interview with the Vampire; well written, well shot, well acted and even managed to win round Anne Rice who hated it initially.

Queen of the Damned; fudged and fooked up mess that does not deserve to be reagarded as a sequel to the above.

I never knew there was so many Highlanders. I remember seeing Highlander 2 at the cinema. Thought that was garbage as well.

I have to say I was pretty disappointed. I loved from duck till dawn, and one day I say from dusk till dawn 3 was in the video shop, I didnt even knwo there was a second!!

I guess they cant be good if two films had come out and I had never heard of them, straight to video I guess!!

The Magnificent Seven - the sublime to the ridiculous!
Airplane - the ridiculous to the grim!

As an aspiring screenwriter (several original scripts and pitches available for perusal by anyone with big piggy bank!! :-) ) I have big problems with most sequels as they rarely add anything.

Having said that I did like Lethal Weapon 2 and Lethal Weapon 3. LW4 was a step too far, though.

I suppose we should be lucky that we haven't yet had 'Quo Vadis 2 : JC kicks Roman Butt'.
