i can remember wearing big platform shoes/ purple hot pants / some times a tank top and flares / what a disaster :

I remember wearing flares/purple tanktop with yellow hearts /platform shoes and a jacket made out of the sort of material you would use to make a teddy bear what a picture

At the height of my 70s gorgeousness I was known to wear a midnight blue velvet jacket with lapels the size of concordes wings, a bright yellow shirt, a red tie the width of wordsworth avenue, pale blue bell bottomed high waisted trousers, 4 inch brown platform shoes and extremely bright socks.
Y fronts with the words "Come and get it" on the front too. and to top it all off, My hair was in the german helmet style.

Now, how could ANY female resist that!

i used to wear trousers a lot and ben sherman or brutus shirts and a cromby coat thats in the early 70s sometimes i got took for a boy from the back.i used to wear brogues shoes my mum wouldnt let me have any monkey boots like my friend.
i also had some purple hot pants and platform shoes but i didnt go for the very high ones.

I do hope you were not one of the skin heads with whom I had altercations with :) (I had long hair in those days - all gone now)

I can remember wearing ben sherman shirts, levi stay press and the two tone type, platform shoes with 5in heels (even though i was over 6 foot) must have looked like the bloke from the 70s hamlet cigar advert, star jumpers, flares,crombie coat, harrington jacket and yes i had a orange and purple tank top
