Hi,

I am looking to rent a flat on Blackwell Place, S2. I am a little unsure of what this area is like i.e. is it not the most desirable area to live!?

Could anyone provide me with any info?

If you take this property, you are going to find it very handy for the city centre, shopping and markets etc., and excellent for transport, like tram and train, as well as the bus station.

It is not horrendously bad, and I would say there are worse areas in the city, definitely.

Sheffield is one of the safest cities to live in, despite recent happenings, causing a bit of a "spike".

Like anywhere, wherever you are, you really just have to be.... well.... whilst not exactly "cautious" or "vigilant", you do have to be alert, and aware of where you are, and your surroundings. It's only common sense.

Thanks for all your comments! I decided against S2 and we have gone for a nice flat on Devonshire Quarter. I've read the reports on here about there and there aren't really many bad comments.
