If you had your cd or album collection stolen what would be the first 3 cds or albums you would have to buy back?.

Mine would be

Muse Absolution

Pearl Jam Ten

Id use the catalogue of records I own combined with the regually updated photos to claim em all back on insurance

I have some rarities and signed stuff though :(

But in the spirit of the thread:

Boards of Canada - Music has the right to children,
Seafood - As the cry flows
Sigur Rós - Ágaetis Byrjun (LP)

There are very few worse things that could happen to me.. God, doesn't bear thinking about..
There's over 25 years worth for them to carry as well.

AC/DC - 'If you want blood..You've got it'
(the one that first got me rocking in 78 aged 14)

Van Halen - Van Halen

Led Zeppelin - lV

Almost impossible to decide on just 3, but I'd have to go with

1. Manics "Generation Terrorists"
2. Only Ones "The Peel Sessions Album"
3. Marion "The Program"

only 3 albums... from like all of my collection? =\

hmm

Deep Purple - Made In Japan
Joe Satriani - Surfing with the Alien
Metallica - Master of Puppets

I think those are what I'd get first, but to be honest as long as they didnt steal my PC or my MP3 CD's in my bag I wouldn't start crying straight away as I have all mine backed up on my PC to save swapping discs in my stereo and also on MP3 CD, so I can carry most of my collection with me in only 10 discs or so :)

I think I'd probably buy some new ones I'd not heard before I reckon.

Not quite in the spirit of the thread I know, but I think its what I'd do.

Feeder - High (Promo Edition)
Feeder - Cement (Disc 1 and 2) - Signed
Feeder - Crash (Disc 1, and 2, Signed Vinyl)

Ok they aren't albums they are singles, but they would be the most expensive to recollect if they were stolen.
