Absolutely shocking I tell you! Whilst I expected it in the 70's when I was a teenager I wouldn't expect it today but it still goes on. I'm probably a little over sensitive to it but it's one of the things that really annoys me. I didn't really take offence at your comment I would have pm'd you if I had but couldn't let it pass. igm1 30-11-2004, 22:42 Sorry to jump in on this wendy/abdul but I think he was only saying that in a sarcastic way. I don't take offence when women say men can't shop or cook. Abdul 30-11-2004, 22:42 Yeah Wendy There will be sexism because IT is still seen as a boys thing. I have to admit though, working in IT, I've met more than a few, ahem, females who prefer other females, if you understand what I mean wendy 30-11-2004, 22:46 lol Yes I know what you mean but you can exclude me in that area - I've been married for 23 years and have 2 kids. I think I get my interest from my dad - he always had to find out how things worked and I seem to take after him. He could also teach himself skills and I am the same there too - I taught myself to crotchet when I was 10 year old for example (not quite the same I know but girls were limited to what they were allowed to do then). wendy 30-11-2004, 22:48 Originally posted by ianmitchell Sorry to jump in on this wendy/abdul but I think he was only saying that in a sarcastic way.
