... and I'm not talking about castrating jumping sheep !!
I have some really nice wool jumpers ... and they're great when new ... but after a while they develop 'bits' ... little bobbles / balls of wool.
What is the best way to remove these without damaging the garment ?
Jamie
Have you tried going to the BAAAAAaaaaaaarbers ?
Sorry. Honest...lol
I'd all but given up on one of my favourite jumpers when my mum gave me one of these : De-Fuzzer (http://www.lakelandlimited.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en/-/GBP/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=t9kHVds0x9WyTJvLOlcMU3P0DQXmG0p92No=?Pro ductID=FajCy5OSqgoAAADrOZGt2GR5)
£4.25 for 2 and they remove bobbles like you wouldn't believe!

They work ok then isha ?
Just about to order 2 ... should I press the 'buy' button !?
yup, they're great...sorta shaves the bobbles off but somewhat less harsh than attacking with your Gilette Mach3, they've saved a fair few of my jumpers from the bin!
I've used those defuzzers too and they are pretty good. Failing that try the good old fashioned sellotape round the hand trick, pulls off bobbles and great for hairs if you have pets.
Well ... I've gone and ordered a defuzzer now ... thanks for the tip :-)
I get quite attached to my jumpers and I love wool ... and the only real downside to wool jumpers is the bobbles (oh ... and possible shrinkage).
Just hope the defuzzer doesn't leave my beloved jumpers in tatters !!
Use Cellotape it works a treat :suspect: or is that for wrapping presents :D honest it does work i do it on my black jumper.
