this will not be for the "hill" walkers.
Linear walk from kiveton park Station along the Chesterfield/Worksop canal towpath. Approx 5 miles each way.
Halfway point before return will be a public house for refreshments. This will be a dog walk for me, but anyone is welcome to join in. weather permitting.

5 miles is into cente of worksop, there area couple of turning points prior to that , one of which is the pub.so its not quite as afr as the websites say.

Friday's out for me. Pity. It sounds nice and I've never been to that area.

its nice and tranquil setting. plenty of flora & fauna and the new locks along the way.
hopefully it tire the dogs out.

its not a dog pub - but it does have al fresco dining facilities alongside the canal.

doing it again tomorrow if the weather holds.let the school run depart and then drive out to Kiveton Park station.
do it most weeks if anyone is interested in dog walking.
