Had a phone call yesterday saying that not enough people have booked to even fill a mini bus. So they're sending me a refund. We were a bit sad but might book to go to Harrogate instead

I wish I had known there was a coach going to the NEC show, I would definately have gone rather than the joke of a show at the Gmex.

Oh well, I think the train is pretty expensive too if you don't book well in advance?

That's a shame. Could you try the train? I can't remember what the connections are like between Sheffield and Birmingham New Street, but once you get there the trains to Birmingham International (for the NEC) are pretty regular.

Then again, at this late stage the train fare might be a bit expensive.

Hopefully, with the new NEC date, the Harrogate show will be a little less crowded this year.
