Did anyone live on bright st carbrook if so can you tell me what the building was at the corner of bright st which joined on to carbrook st. I remember it had lots of wooden boxes stacked up but can't remember whether it was a firm or storage yard .

we lived at 202 Bright Street.
It was called "SHIRTS" sold ex army packing boxes,
It used to be a an old methodist church, i can remember standing on my nans ottoman and watch the men. There is an photo on picturesheffield.com
where did you live. we lived in the yard opposite the old church.It was a firm if i remember rightly.

We lived next door to this building 213 bright street if you stood at our front door you could see all the way up Bee street to the Pheasant Hotel.

My nans house was 3rd house from Bee Street name of Pearce, Grace and Arthur Pearce, do their names ring a bell with you. I remember seeing these boxes when i knelt on my nans ottoman in her bedroom , and wondering what they were .

Yes I remember Arthur Pearce but not your nan and was'nt there a Jackie Pearce she may remember my sister June my mum was called Peggy we lived in the big house next to the boxes people used to park there cars in the garages in our yard .
