Do you think if they opened a Men only gym that people would complain?

Can't see many men going to a men only gym.

Working out is boring at the best of times, a bit of eye candy helps with the boredom

true. I usually get a daypass to somewhere when I'm on holiday, for precisely that reason. My excuse that time is that I want to 'learn something about the culture'.

I wasn't suggesting a 'men only' gym, but wondering what would happen if such a place opened. Would it cause offence?

Fair enough, I was just curious.

It often seems ok to exclude people due to their sex if it's in favour of weomen, but I am curious as to how people react the other way around.

Another example of this is the Leadmill not allowing all male groups in, yet they allow all female groups (not that you'd want to go there really anyway). Can you imagine the fuss they'd get if they allowed all male groups and not all female groups?

I don't think it's a bad idea having a 'ladies only' gym or 'ladies only' car insurance advertised on TV, but would it be accepted the other way around?

I just feel that anything that is Men only will not have a very high appeal

With regards to groups of men in nightclubs, its probably

1) the staff feel trouble/fights are more likely from groups of men
2) I feel also, if a nightclub got top heavy with men (by excluding groups of women) it would soon get a reputation as the place to avoid for the lads

maybe a bit sexist

I would also find a 'men only gym' or a club that only allowed groups of men in and not groups of woemen in to be something not for me, but that's not the point, I am making the point that we seem to allow some forms of what could be seen as sexist rules where as the opposite of those rules may be tollerated much less.

Personally I find the idea of a women only gym very patronising and pointless. It says it's an "Executive" gym. Female executives who cant handle being around men aren't much use in the corporate world.
Men are from Earth, Women are from Earth. Get over it.

I didn't realise that greens had changed their policy or required a uniform, that's shocking.

When you say it's a half an hour work out, do you mean that's what you do or do you mean that's what classes they do? You can do a half hour workout in any gym surely?
