hi yes i used to work at ducketts on broadfield road , i worked there with a bloke called tom i wonder if it was the same one ? , it was a really scruffy and dusty job i think i must have been crazy to have worked there .

Was it theHeeley Baths/Abbeydale Rd end or the Heeley Social/London Rd end.
I lived on Saxon Rd until 1970 - can't place the name of this company though

I lived on Saxon Rd until 1970 - can't place the name of this company though ducketts was still there in 1970 it was powder paint and ink makers , the building is still there now but not as ducketts , going up broadfield road from london road end , it was just a bit further up than saxon road as the road bends on the right hand side just before the social club .
