i have the choice of having my baby in Barnsley General or at the Jessop Wing in Sheffield, both are equal distance and have quite new facilities. i have heard some horror stories about Jessops but thought id open it out to the forum, this isnt about whether either city is better than the other ( i'm from Sheffield and my hubby is from Catterick).

any feedback is appreciated

I don't have a horror story about it ....
But just the word Barnsley scares me ***less:(
