Although its a bit late for today, what is there to do in the city centre on a sunday?. I dont want to just sit in a bar/coffee house and read the newspapers...

Any worthwhile suggestions.................

There's a few shops open round Fargate and that if you want, mostly the big name shops like Virgin, Dixons etc that open on Sundays though.

Go down to Victoria Quays and take a barge down the canal. Its about a fiver which includes a brief historical talk (suitable if you have kids or a hangover) and they serve refreshments.

Boats leave at 1.30pm and 3pm.

Millenium Galleries are worth a look round, especially if they have a good touring exhibition there. The metal exhibition and the Ruskin gallery are free.

The sheffield round walk is a near perfect way to spend a Sunday. Starts at Endcliffe Park, goes to Graves Park.

See my post about The Round Walk on the hobbies forum

mtg Walkabout 8pm - no kidding - don't wait for things to happen, make 'em happen. As one vulture said to the other "patience my ass, I'm gonna kill something" Step 1. What IS your ambition?

Everything seems pretty dead on a Sunday. I usually just go to the movies. Shrek 2 and Spiderman 2 are good. :D

The Spiritualist churches are always good for a laugh.
Depends on the visiting medium but chances are you'll get a message or two from t'other side.
With bit of luck Elvis or Jim Reeves will beam down a refrain - via
Doris Stokes .
Don't forget to say Bless You -but don't fall for a private session when the happy mediums get in touch with your cheque book.

You could groove along to z-man at Halcyon... End your weekend gently (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15106).
