and child tax credit if the same rules apply...
i know that your parents get it if your in full time education and until your 19...but what about the holidays? just say that you have finished a course in june and then your not going to start one in september then will they still get it until september?
And what if your in full time education and you get a part time job? then would your parents stop getting it?
yes they should still get it,if you are not certain phone the benefits agency

I,m sure you will but getting it depends on how they earn there money mean time.
If your son applied or his course was funded by an education maintanance allowance he will continue to qualify.
How ever its best to ring up the Inland revenue, who incidently open the weekends to (AM) only on 0845 3021444.
If you have a text phone then ring 0845 302 1474.
You will need your national insurance number or FA ref No at hand.
Good luck.
well im just finding out if my parents will still get it, i have checked the website but it doesnt say it on there, i just thought that someone on here would know...
so if i ring up can i just ask them a question without giving them any details?
what i want to know is, if my parents still get the benefit if i get a part-time job as well as being in full time education...

so you want to get a part time job, but keep your parent's benefit? i'm sure if you called with a general query they won't ask you for any personal details.
i think it might be like 24 hours or less... i phoned one of the helpdesks and the woman said that but didnt seem entirely sure.and told me to phone the main number.... ive tried phoning this one but it takes ages for someone to pick it up...
