I am bored and depressed. Today is offically the first day of the summer hols and it is raining cats and dogs. What to do? Any suggestions? Any parties? Are there other teachers out there in the same boat? And believe me you'd need a boat to go out in this weather!! Please help!!

I think this is the worst summer i can ever remember weather wise. Having said that, it is sunny where I am today. My friend is a teacher and has buggered off to france for 3 weeks. I think he's got the right idea.

Weird though isn't it.

I blame all this on Global Warming.....well that and them things the Russians keep putting into space.... or so my mother in law says...the scary thing is that she believes it as well.

It has been a shocking summer up to now.

I am off on my hols on Monday so at least I should get some sunny, hot weather in Spain and when we get back hopefully the weather will have settled here.

Fingers crossed.

I will be making many article notes whilst partaking in the slow sipping of cool lagers on the sun terrace, that's for sure.

I'm spending 5 weeks in a tent at various festivals! Feel sorry for me!!!
