Intolerance is one of the most difficult inclinations to understand. There's a myriad factors that underpin intolerance and within these factors, varying degrees of conviction. Perhaps the easiest way of defining intolerance is to say that human beings experience incompatibility toward each other (hate each other's guts) and the bonds that are available, be these bonds religious, ethnic, family or whatever are seized upon and used as vehicles for the expression of intolerant views. Some finding expression in the bombing and shooting of others deemed different. All it appears to achieve is a tightening of perceived differences and a uncrossable divide between them. Ref. Northeren Ireland. The West Bank, Nigeria, Sudan, Iraq and so on.
When Britain becomes a less racially mixed nation, say of predominantly Islamic faith, during the next 20 years or so, (look at the birth rates for the past twenty years) this particular journey will become fraught with conflict. The resultant effect of the intolerance which will be expressed is inevitable....Unless one could envisage a utopia where the bonds that hold and support intolerance do not exist. The main culprit being religion.
I don't personally subscribe to perceived differences, nor what holds and supports them (religion, race, colour, political pursuasion, football team.. etc). I see through them. They are of no substance to me whatsoever. However, this view itself, invites intolerant reaction. Is that not ironic? There is no foreseeable glossing over so to make things right. What is happening across the globe (eg. 9/11) as a result will manifest same across the UK. It's already seething in certain people, groups and locations not nameable here for obvious reasons. (Watch the TV) When these inevitably become greater in number and force an opposition voice holding on to some semblance of 'post-war British character, etc' will make itself heard. It's a pity it has to be this way because I used to feel safe in Britain. (A wrapped in cotton wool idealist).

All those people you talk about being born here will be British anyway, so where is the problem... as for Islam becoming the predominate faith... it already is. There are more practising Muslims in this country than any other faith. If people are really that worried about Islam taking over, why not take yourself off to church tomorrow morning. If all the people who put 'Christian' down on job applications and the Census actually started going to worship we'd have to start building more churches.

Of which are Muslim >2m people

Thats 1 in 30 (or 3.33% of the overall population)

(World average is 1 in 5 or 20% of worldwide population)

The fact that they may be practising, is that illegal in the UK?
Is anybody preventing citizens of other faiths practising?

So, from what I gather of BNP policy.....

'Voluntary Repatriation' - send them back to their countries of Origin. Okay, and what would become of the British in those countries, also of British business and interests in those countries?

20% of World Populace is Muslim - does the BNP plan on withdrawing all British investment in those muslim countries and expect those muslim countries to do likewise?

Do the BNP want to disengage its people from so many muslim countries in the world many whom still even now comparatively trust the British over the Americans?

I don't know where the BNP draws is policy lines here, it says they welcome people into their party of european ethnic background (or to such effect).
