Garfield is very funny - kids film with adult humour

Thunderbirds is quite camp in places

Spiderman 2 - is a pile of rubbish

I fail to see the appeal of Garfield. I expected a weak plot but good animation. The animation and CGI sucked - really it did when compared to, even Stuart Little.

I think Thunderbirds will end up crap, history has shown that nearly all cartoon to live action movie crossovers have ended up being crap.

Did you enjoy it? I thought it was quite a passible film and a bit dark in places - looking forward to the next one on that basis.

btw King Arthur is very good and well worth going to see if you can't find alternative sources.

This is one of the main problems with opinions and criticism of films, everyone has an personal opinion, some people might think that Spiderman 2 is a brilliant film, whereas others might think it a load of rubbish, some might think that King Arthur is so boring that taking your own crochet kit might be preferable, whereas some might really like it.

Personally, I enjoyed Garfield, I found it funny and so did my son, I wasn't thinking all along "This isn't anything like the cartoon" for the simple reason, it was NOT the cartoon, it was a live action film, I tend to watch a film for escapism, not to pick it to bits for the smallest problem.

Thunderbirds apparently was originally going to be more adult based, but unfortunately it has gone the way of Spy Kids 3 and been tailored for young children.

There are some very good films coming out this year, namely, Alien Vs Predator, Hellboy, Shrek 2, The Punisher and a few others, but I shall state yet again, personal opinions count for a lot.
