If you're not working Monday afternoon (19th) and you can get to the peace gardens, there's an African dance thingy on as part of the Childrens Festival featuring 'Mpopoma Dance Ensemble' from Zimbabwe.

I've seen them and believe me, they're fantastic.

Well worth an hour of anybody's time.:thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Yeah I was in the Peace Gardens Monday dinner time and watched the dancing for a bit.. Very energetic, don't think I could've done it :D

Very impressive though :)

Didnt know it was on....
but went to eat my dinner in gardens as the sun was out... and it was great it made my day!

i only saw up to the first school dancing and the kids were lovin it, hope theres more things planned for the future

Those Zimbabwean dancers carried on dancing with each school in turn. Seven schools X five minutes each. Fit, or what?

Bet it took them a few days to get the chewing gum off their feet though:rolleyes: :thumbsup:
