Hello i've just moved to Chesterfield and am trying to find open mic nights to go and play acoustic tunes at, anyone know of any???

Well, this is Sheffield forum but i do know a few bands in Chesterfield. It depends on your type of music, Blues,folk ect.
The local paper should have listings .

The Classic Rock Bar on Ecclesall Road has Open Mic events... The Landlady of the CRB posts here quite a bit, PM (Private Message) Classic Rock for more info :thumbsup:

Cool yeah its actually Sheffield i'm looking for since it's just up the road and i don't imagine Cheterfield is overwhelmed with open mics. Cheers for the tip. Anyone know anymore???

Tuesday night at the deepend in hillsborough is dubbed 'Jamming night'. I used to love going to that, then i moved to the other side of town and realised how lazy i was! :)

Hi, there are somne open mic nights on every sunday at the Broadfield pub on abbeydale road.
Usually starts about 7.30 ish and plenty do get in!

Yep, Monday nights at the Classic Rock Bar, we have a few acoustic musicians who get up and play. We are next to the petrol station near Safeway on Ecclesall Rd.

Can certainly vouch for the Deep End.... all gear provided jamming on Tues eve' and Sun 4 - 7pm. Good atmosphere.

your jokin?? i saw posters up saying live acoustic night, didnt realise it was open mic??....well ill defo have to get myself along, with it being my local and with me being a prof musician. silly me!!
