View Full Version : Tennis: Andy Murray...
YakQueudrue 03-09-2006, 23:38 Who else agrees he will win a tennis Open in the next 2 years?
The boys done well, he was hid under a desk at the school in Dunblane where the knifeman went berserk in 1996, not that that has anything to do with his tennis abilty, obviously. Good luck to him I say.
And when he wins something, he's British, not Scottish.
No, he's Scottish and he hates the English. Think it's only fair that we return his sentiments.
Well still much prefer him to that squirmy BOZO Henman.
he doesn't look very strong to me.

exactly dude. **** him.
No, i dont think so, he has alot of talent but not quite the calibre of players like Federer and Agassi- who know longer plays. Andy has worked on his stamina which let him down in Queens and Wimbledon '05 and has also worked hard on his fitness including muscle mass, hes not a complete skinny rake anymore. 2 years however is a long time, im saying No though Yak to the Grand slams, but it wouldnt suprise me if he got to a few finals along the way.

same goes for me
plekhanov 05-09-2006, 18:17 I don't know much about tennis but I can tell that whilst he might not be the most talented player out there (probably significantly less talented than Henman) Murray at least seems to be a real fighter and seems more able to take the pressure of British expectation on him than Henman who consistently bottled it.
carcrash 05-09-2006, 19:51 Another british tennis player sponsered by Viagra because they cannot get past a semi
brummieade 05-09-2006, 21:01 exactly dude. **** him.
yeah...hes a f ckin prick...i dont care if hes a scot or not, i think hes a tit tho.

he's got more skill than henman.
don't get me wrong, i liked watching henman play at his peak, he was a good player, but already, murray is showing real potential.
he just needs to grow up a bit first, but im sure brad will sort that out.
and yes he does need to bulk up a bit
BasilRathbon 06-09-2006, 15:58 Why's he playing tennis at this time of year anyway? Wimbledon doesn't start till next June so he's a bit stupid playing in a warm-up tournament at the moment.
can't understand why a scot should be financially supported by the All English Tennis Club.
perhaps if we'd paid for Tiger Tim to have coaching he may have wanted to win for England.

Hopefully your tongue is very firmly in cheek.....
Murray has just been battered at the US Open anyway...

666 is commonly mistaken to be the number of the beast but 616 was used way before

It was supposed to be a joke not a point scoring exercise. I'll make sure I have a history lesson first next time.;)

But you're wrong, because it is. It became so about 1600 years ago; a far longer stretch of time than the time for which 616 was that number.
