Wind players in the Yorkshire region might like to know that the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra is under new management and welcoming players to register their interest in the group for it's 2007 season.
The YWO is a group of top quality regional musicians who perform throughout the region and at National band events.

Clarinets
Flutes
Oboes
Bassoons
Saxophones
Trumpets
Euphoniums
French Horns
Tubas
Trombones
Percussion
String Bass

Hi - Can you give me an idea of what standard of player you are looking for - and if there is any age criteria? - I noticed it said 'young' players on the website!

One of the charities aims is to promote wind music to young people in the Yorkshire Region however to be a YWO player there is no age restriction. With regards to standard we are looking for Grade 8+. What instrument do you play?
