Ive been off work over the summer with my 6yo and 2yo (the joys of termtime working:D ) and I thought I would share some of the places I thought were worth going to again:

Chatsworth farm and adventure playground - this was brilliant and plenty for both boys to do. There is some water play here so pack a towel and spare clothes - I didnt realise  Under 3s are free and if you go in a group of 5 or over the price is discounted too:D

Magna - although the inside is OK the outside play area is absolutely fabulous. There is also now a water play bit that looks brilliant (bit too cold for it when we went though). Bit pricey but it seemed good and worth another visit.

Abbeydale miniture railway (http://www.sevenandaquarter.com/smee2/timetable.htm) - this was a brilliant thing to do on a Sunday. There are about 4 trains going round (mainly mini steam trains) in a lovely setting which is fantatstic for picnics etc. Rides were 60p each so its not bad price wise - both boys thought this was great. They run about 1 or 2 sundays a month - we will definitely go again:D

Anyone got any others?

The Worksop Butterfly house is a really good day out, under 3's are free and £5.99 for adults.

White Post Farm near Mansfield/Notts. Great fun for kids of all ages and their parents and grandparents.

You can get a year pass for Magna, can't you? Anyone think it's worth it?
