Hi,
I'm getting married next August (2005) and I need to book wedding cars. Thing is, most of the cars have leather seats. I have been veggie for 11 years and I do not want to sit on leather seats. Does anyone know of a good, reliable company who will do a wedding at Ringwood Hall in Chesterfield.
Cheers

I'd imagine all the posh wedding motors have leather seats - most premium cars do don't they?
No new animals will be harmed by you sitting on the existing leather seat you know, unless you want freshly re-upholstered seats for your wedding day.
Apparently some old manufacturers saw leather as being functional rather than luxurious so the drivers seats were leather (which I can handle because I won't have to sit on them) and the passenger seats were velvet or similar.
A wedding car bloke at the Ponds Forge Wedding Show told me that but I can't remember who he was! :-(
I once had a friend who was in a mini owners club, and they used to do Italian job convoys for weddings.
EG 20 mini's taking bride and groom and guests from church to reception, looked fantastic and not much leather in those.
How about a horse and carriage?
Sit on a blanket?
or a stretch limo, maybe they will be vinyl?
I was thinking about a horse and carriage but we would have to take it down the bypass to Chesterfield so mayber not!! :-)
There is a wedding car place just off Queens Road, they have lots of cars, maybe something there?
We often fly people by helicopter to their wedding at Ringwood Hall.
One of our helicopter has leather seats - but I am sure I could find one without!

There's one on Alderson Road which I think is the one you must mean. Can't remember what it's called, but it's on Alderson Road between Shoreham Street and Bramall Lane, right near the entrance to the halls where I used to live.

Why are you worried about the leather?
Its not 'actually' the leather you sit on anyway, its nearly all coated with a PVC layer to protect it. So a few microns of PVC is what you will actually be sitting on :)
