I have been out of sheffield . Last week end when i was going to gatecrasher I saw that purple is pulling crowd than zero night club .what went wrong . Is it worth going for this club than spoil the night

If you look on a friday, you'll find zero has quite a crowd for urban gorilla. Quality night! Purple may have a big crowd, but have you checked out the quality of punter there?

Get yourself down to .zero. It has some of the best clubnights in Sheffield and Urban Gorilla is one of the best clubnights in the UK.
Planet Zogg and Razor Stilletto are quality nights

I used to in to purple when it was called Berlins and I loved it. It was like the bar at Cheers, everyone new my name. Now like the name it's crap. I was walking past it on saturday night and there where about 20 cops and 2 ambulances outside with a pool of blood on the floor.

Talk about pot calling the kettle black! The clientele at Bar 101 generally looks *ahem* rough, and a few times when I've been waiting for a bus nearby a fight has broke out outside the place!

If it was last saturday - then it was Planet Zogg at Zero - which is a trance techno all nighter - so dont think there would be much cross over with Purple! ...and Zogg had a decent sized crowd in on sat - esp for a summer w/e.

Zero seems to moved away from the mainstream market -and seems to be doing a good job catering for the more left field type nights - Urban Gorilla, Razor Stilletto, Riddimption, Hustle etc - so hurray for Zero!

Went to Zogg @ .Zero last weekend. Absolutely awesome. Best night out for several years. Really friendly crowd, and surprisingly few pill heads considering the quality of music. Any true Trance lovers out there must go!

Oh, just a quick comment on Berlins/Purple.... Berlins was an awful place, full of lagered-up under-age townies looking for a fight, and 14 year old jail-bait slappers. From the distance (the closest I'm willing to go) Purple is exactly the same. Avoid it at all costs. (unless you are an underage townie who wants to fight, in which case - please go there, don't come and spoil my night!)
